Our Purpose
Our pastoral team leads from a place of service; purposefully taking a hands-on approach to the ministry of discipleship. We believe this is the most effective way to be good stewards of the people. the church, and the resources with which God has blessed us as a congregation.
Stan Asher, Lead Pastor
Pastor Stan and Delinda are from Concord NC. They have been in ministry together since 1999. Stan is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He was a student at Lee University. Stan has evangelized, served on state boards, served as a youth pastor and has been a senior Pastor in the Church of God since 2007. His passion for all people drives him in ministry desiring to see all become part of the Body of Christ. Stan’s preaching style is that of a Pentecostal camp meeting service and also enjoys in-depth Bible teaching.
Emily Dyer, Children’s Pastor
Emily is full of energetic passion for Jesus and people. She touches every life she encounters, especially children. Emily brings the Bible to life each week in CPKIDZ through her dynamic teaching, hands on activities, events and special children’s gatherings. Emily also sings on our praise team.
Everyone she encounters is touched by her love for Jesus and people, Emily is an encourager, a pray warrior and desires to see all come to know Christ. She leads by example. She loves worship music, reading, spending time with friends.
